More than “just” First Aid. Motorcycle Crash Management training is about What to do when the minutes matter.

We built this training so you can be better prepared than we were, with a clear plan and practical skills that hold up when things get messy.

The goal is simple: more confidence, better decisions, and better outcomes for riders, pillions, and the people waiting at home.

Meet Deborah.

Why we are a must for riders to attend

Most first aid courses teach the basics in a classroom.

At First Aid for Motorcyclists, we teach the whole ride-day picture not just first aid.

From before you even throw a leg over in the morning, to the decisions you make on the road, to what happens if it all goes pear-shaped, and right through to getting everyone home (and supported afterwards).

You’ll learn how to think like a calm leader: understand who you’re riding with, set up a safer group ride no matter the size, and build simple habits that reduce risk without killing the fun.

And if you’re riding solo, you’ll know what to do when you come across an incident and you’re the first one there how to make the scene safer, call it in, and take the right actions in the right order when things are a bit rough around the edges.

Yes, we cover the critical first aid skills breathing, bleeding, burns, and bones but we also train you in scene management, communication, and practical decision-making so you can move from panic to control, fast. It’s about making small changes in how you ride, plan, and respond… that can lead to lifelong saves.

Our Values

Community First:

We believe in the power of the riding community. Our commitment to looking out for each other is at the heart of everything we do. We’re here to ensure that every rider, no matter their experience, feels supported, valued, and ready to lend a hand when it’s needed most.

Respect for the Ride:

We respect the freedom and exhilaration that comes with riding, but we also understand the risks. Our values reflect a balance between the joy of the open road and the responsibility we all share to keep each other safe.

Continuous Improvement:

The road to safety is always evolving, and so are we. We value continuous improvement, always seeking to enhance our training and stay up-to-date with the latest best practices. We’re committed to providing the best possible education so that our riders can feel confident and capable.

Resilience and Recovery:

We value the importance of resilience—both for the rider and the first aider. Our goal is to reduce the traumatic impact of crashes and promote faster recovery times, ensuring that everyone involved can get back on their feet and back on their bikes as soon as possible.

Preparedness is Power:

We believe that knowledge is your best defence in emergencies. Our Motorcycle Crash Management Training equips riders with essential skills to effectively handle crash scenarios. From first aid techniques to crash scene management, our comprehensive program empowers you to respond confidently and decisively. Invest in your safety and the safety of others.

Real-World Skills:

We believe in practical, hands-on learning that translates directly to real-world situations. Our training is designed to be relatable and relevant, ensuring that every rider walks away with the skills they need to handle whatever comes their way.

Care and Compassion:

We do what we do because we care deeply about our fellow riders. Compassion drives our mission, and we believe in approaching every situation with empathy and understanding. We’re here to support each other, not just in emergencies, but in building a stronger, more connected riding community.

Aussie Spirit:

We embrace the spirit of mateship and looking out for one another, which is at the core of the Australian way of life. Our values are a reflection of our commitment to the riding community, where every rider is part of the family, and we all share the road together.

Happy Customers

  • "The practical real life situations that we got trained on were so relevant and I now feel like I have a better knowledge of what I can do when I see a first aid scenario when out riding. Debb was an AMAZING trainer. Highly recommended. Will 100% do another"

  • "Attended the FAFM course at Gippsland Motorcycle Club in Traralgon Race Club. It was a really good day with great info and practical exercises and real life scenarios. We trained on every item in the first aid kit and it is a great confidence builder for the day you might come onto a real incident on the road."

  • "Great Course, attended today. I've completed generic First Aid courses previously, so this was a great refresher and updater to current practices. But what I really liked was how it was focused in the context of the victims of Motorcycle incidents. I'll put my additional knowledge gained today in my kit, and hopefully never require it. but should the situation arise, I now feel quite empowered to be comfortable in managing the scene. David Paterson the instructor at Warrandyte Vic , really knows his stuff, and had a great range of experience and analogies which really compliment the presentation."
